Owning a home brings on a TON of projects. Old & brand new homes. We did deck stairs, deck staining, fire pit, custom inside gates, a fence, a pool, and we kept putting off the landscaping soley because, well, pricing and I am picky. We finally found a company not only did I feel super comfortable with but affordable and it is a family owned local one which is even better. Megan helped me design the front and back to exactly how I wanted and it was such an easy process. When you’re investing in these huge projects it can be scary throwing a lot money but I think we found our new go-to-guys for projects!! After Green Horizon repaired some of my grass damaged from a large truck a couple of years ago, they did such good work I thought I would use them again. I had a small area – 340 sq ft. , but large enough that I didn’t want to be lifting sod and hurting my back. They used four men, two trucks and in less than an hour had leveled the area and had the sod down. It is nice looking green fescue and should do well in our St. Louis area. Very nice people to deal with and very hard workers. In June – they did another area, about the same size. The men were courteous and hard working and did a great job. The sod was thicker than stuff you might buy elsewhere. They said that was because of the heat and they wanted to make sure the grass grew in this heat. This is my third experience with them and I’d definitely recommend them. – Tom Terrific
